Advisory Board Book – Future of Orthopaedics - Strategic Forecast for a Service Line Under Siege
In the fall of 2003, the Health Care Advisory Board Company published the Future of Orthopaedics - Strategic Forecast for a Service Line Under Siege. The American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) collaborated with the Advisory Board on this project and on an earlier report titled, 'Future of Orthopaedics - Service Line Innovation Brief.'
Copies of 'Future of Orthopaedics - Strategic Forecast for a Service Line Under Siege' were sent to healthcare organizations that are paying members (typically the country's largest and most progressive health systems and medical centers). These reports were probably mailed to the attention of your hospital administrator.
The AOA realizes this information is important to our members and is a 'hot commodity' as it cannot be garnered from the Advisory Board without membership. Because of its role in the creation of this report, the AOA has negotiated a limited electronic license to the reports. In August, the report will be available on the AOA web site for member-only use in case you are unable to locate the hard copy in your institution, or if your institution is not an Advisory Board member.
We ask that you honor our agreement and close relationship with the Advisory Board by treating this as a READ-ONLY document. The AOA does not permit or condone reproduction or distribution of this report.
The AOA is proud to have a strong Community of Leaders who were willing and capable participants in a project that touches and impacts the entire specialty of orthopaedics.
