For 2010, dues for Active, Associate and Affliliate Members will be $850, which represents a $175 increase over 2009 dues.
For those that attend the AOA Annual Meeting, this represents a savings of $375 from the amount an individual would pay separately for Membership Dues ($675) and Annual Meeting Registration ($400).
This chart explains how the change will take place over two years to help minimize inconvenience to Active, Affiliate & Associate Members Members as a result of this increase:

Senior Member Implications
Currently the AOA has 29 Senior Members. In 2003, membership voted to accept changes in the bylaws which included the removal of the Senior category. Members who had this status were grandfathered. These individuals pay dues that are and were equal to Active Members, but do not have a penalty for failure to attend meetings. See Article II, sections 1 and 2 of the AOA bylaws for details.
AOA Members in the Military
In recognition of the service to our country, the AOA’s military members will receive 50% off their dues.
Annual Meeting
Registration fees for spouses will be reduced to help encourage family participation in our meeting.
