Donations & Sponsorships

The AOA works to equip orthopaedic surgeons with knowledge and skills necessary to lead effectively in the ever-changing landscape of the healthcare environment.

The AOA takes leadership in confronting critical issues in orthopaedics.

The AOA provides leadership and educational programs for orthopaedic surgeons in all phases of their careers, along with academic offerings and educational tools to support academic faculty.

Individuals have a unique opportunity to give back to the future of orthopaedics through restricted donations supporting AOA Traveling Fellowships and a range of academic and educational programming.

Industry sponsorships also play an important part in supporting educational programs of the AOA.

Although some are more natural leaders than others, there are many essential skills which must be learned by all. It's not enough to be honest and hard working; leadership in healthcare in the 21st century mandates that one have knowledge of finance, health care, negotiation skills, the law, organizational management and many other areas. The AOA has been a great resource for me and many others as we strive to expand our knowledge and leadership abilities.
