AOA Annual Meeting Sponsorship Opportunities

Council of Residency Directors (CORD) Conference
Benefits level begin at $20,000
The challenges of educating residents have become more complex and time demanding. This session will provide our teachers leadership, communication, collaboration, and innovation development to better educate and prepare these residents - the future of orthopaedics.

Department Chair Forum
Benefits level begin at $5,000
Strategies for success are presented during this 1-1/2 hour session. Attendees have an opportunity to exchange best practices with peers on issues related to resident and fellow education as well as managing an orthopaedic department. Sessions include topics such as understanding generational differences, resident/fellow interaction, mentoring, and faculty development.

Critical Issue Symposia
$15,000 each
The 2011 Annual Meeting general session includes eight symposia focused on critical issues in orthopaedics. The symposia are 90 minutes each and are a featured event of the meeting. Symposia faculty, topics, and learning objectives are provided in greater details within the enclosed preliminary program.

Special Emphasis Posters
$10,000 each
The AOA offers a clinically focused poster presentation area, with a "Special Emphasis Poster Presentation" session held during the AOA Annual Meeting.

Program Cover Opportunities
The AOA will offer a final program cover sponsorship for the 2012 Annual Meeting. The inside and outside back covers are available.

Satellite Symposium
Benefits level begin at $75,000
The Annual Meeting assembles ~400 leaders in orthopaedics and serves as an excellent venue for sponsors to have access to orthopaedic leaders. The AOA will allow two industry sponsored symposium to be conducted and managed by industry as long as it is in compliance with ACGME regulations, does not conflict with any AOA Annual Meeting programming or all member event, and the sponsoring company arranges for all logistics.

In addition to the Annual Meeting, two forums will be held at the Gaylord National Hotel.

AOA Resident Leadership Forum
Benefits level begin at $25,000
This 2-day forum focuses on leadership development through interactive lectures by recognized faculty and group analysis of a critical issue in orthopaedics. The forum is designed to fulfill the specific needs of ~130of the top PGY4 orthopaedic residents from the accredited US and Canadian residency programs. These future leaders have been recognized as outstanding residents by their Program Directors/Department Chairs.

AOA Emerging Leaders Forum
Benefits level begin at $25,000
Typically attended by 40 young orthopaedic surgeons, the day-and-a-half Emerging Leaders Forum (ELF) is the crown jewel of the AOA's Emerging Leaders Program. Attendees are considered the future leaders within the profession. Attendees participate in discussions regarding development of leadership skills such as effective communication, strategic decision making and negotiations. This forum also addresses critical issues in orthopaedics such as surgeon industry relations.
