2012 AOA Emerging Leaders
Forum
The 2012 Emerging Leaders Forum (ELF) will be held on June 26-27
at Gaylord National Hotel near Washington, DC.
The ELF is a one-and-a-half day event designed to facilitate
peer-to-peer discussions and interactions. The ELF is a benefit of
Emerging Leaders Program. Only
members of the Emerging Leaders Program are eligible to attend.
The ELF addresses leadership topics, including:
- Leadership development
- Business/finance tools
- Communications skills
- Management skills
The ELF is attended by ~40 Emerging Leaders, providing a
smaller, more intimate setting than the Resident Leadership Forum
or other orthopaedic meetings. This environment facilitates
an engaging interchange between nation-wide peers and AOA
members.
Stay for the AOA's Annual
Meeting
As an Emerging Leader, you are eligible to stay the first evening
and the first full day of the AOA's Annual Meeting (June 28, 2012)
as part of your registration fee. This gives you the opportunity to
support fellow Emerging Leaders during their scientific poster
presentations.
You are also welcome to stay for the entire Annual Meeting (June
27-30, 2012) for a discounted fee. By attending, you'll receive the
latest information on timely orthopaedic topics and opportunities
to develop relationships with accomplished AOA members.
Registration will open in late February
2012.
