About the Council of Orthopaedic Residency Directors (CORD)
CORD is dedicated to the promotion of excellence in musculoskeletal graduate medical education. The program works to recognize best practices in orthopaedic residency and fellowship education to achieve common educational goals. CORD membership is held at the institutional level. All individual staff within a member institution are considered CORD affiliates and are invited to take part in CORD activities. Yearly program dues provide many benefits, including: online educational resources, a discussion forum, monthly e-newsletter and discounted registration fees for CORD conferences. Non-member institutions are encouraged to join the AOA’s CORD program.
