Nominations for AOA Class of 2026

Nominations are now being accepted for the membership class of 2026.

Nominate your candidates by September 15, 2025.

Only Active, Senior-Active and Emeritus members are eligible to nominate a member.  Contact membership@aoassn.org with questions.

Information for Nominators

When making a nomination you will need: 

  • Your nominee’s name and email address.
  • Your letter of support (type in or upload).
  • Name of AOA member that will second the nomination and their email address.

What makes an effective letter of support? 

One that includes and emphasizes the details and achievements of this nominee. A more personal approach and endorsement beyond what CV indicates. For samples, view the redacted letters of support below.
