“Dr. Wayne Sebastianelli is a remarkable role model for young orthopaedic surgeons and has set the bar for excellence in the domains of orthopaedics and sports medicine.  In an era of increasing sub-specialization, he continues to demonstrate, like no one else that I know, that you can be a master of both general orthopaedic skills and sports medicine.  His integrity, courage, leadership, and commitment to excellence have resulted in him being honored by Penn State University, his local medical community, Penn State Health and the AOA in his role as president.  Perhaps most importantly, there is a long line of former student athletes that remain forever deeply thankful to him for all he has done for them.”

“Wayne Sebastianelli is a true renaissance man as a surgeon, educator, and leader. He has demonstrated these qualities all of his life as an outstanding student, resident, fellow, practitioner, husband and father!  Wayne is critical to the sports programs at Penn State which is no small task. He is a Past-President of the AOA, Omega, has a key role at the Mt. Nitanny Medical Center and is a treasured fellowship director, to name a few.
